This multifunctional device is endorsed and prescribed by board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ryon Hennessy. The Clinical Practice Guidelines were developed by Dr. Hennessy and Dr. Joe Castronovo, PT, DPT, MTC. Of course, you can use this device on your own. OVERVIEW
ANEclear is a patented disposable device technology to reverse the effects of inhaled volatile anesthetics in the brain at the end of surgery to return brain function, increase airway control and respiration, and improve patient alertness and orientation.
When general anesthesia is administered, anesthetics in the form of vapors are delivered to a patient. Seniors – At risk for delirium, cognitive dysfunction, and airway complications
1 in 10 surgical patients are age 65 or older. The aging brain is more vulnerable to anesthesia. Older patients are at higher risk of the following complications.
- Postoperative delirium – A temporary condition that causes patients to be confused, disoriented, and experience memory problems.
